Fiberglass laminating

Saturate fiberglass mat with resin mixture. Apply resin mixture, by using a brush, to the fiberglass mat and woven roving. Press saturated mat and woven roving into the pipe, tank, or mold to remove air bubbles and wrinkles, using a roller.
Remove air bubbles from fiberglass. Use brushes and rollers to eliminate air bubbles that could weaken the fiberglass, to ensure perfect adherence of the resin to the product or to previous layers, and to avoid any structural defects.
Use Power and Hand Tools

Use tape measure to get correct measurements before trim cured materials by sawing them with diamond-impregnated cutoff wheels
Be able to use a variety of hand tools, razor knives, scissors, pneumatic tools, power tools and overhead hoists.
Must be able to read a standard tape measure
Forklift Operator duties and responsibilities

Load/Unload trucks and verify accuracy of items on packing list
Checking for damaged goods
Staying aware of possible hazards
Work Skills

Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
Must be able to work a 10-hour shift standing, bending and lifting.
Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals.
Must have strong attention to detail
Must be able to bend at the waist and knees as well as stand for extended periods.
Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements such as respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Must follow all safety standards and procedures
Must adhere to all quality standards
Must demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience
Must be able to work well with teams and in close proximity to each other
Able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Experience in fiberglass repair or auto bodywork is preferred but not required
