Express has an exciting career opportunity in the 3D Printing industry as a 3D File Prep Technician! Our client provides custom manufacturing services with a comprehensive suite of both additive and traditional manufacturing technologies. Seeking collaborative and motivated self-starters to join the team!

• Our client specializes in additive manufacturing services for production grade parts across a variety of end markets (medical, electronics, consumer automotive, aerospace, defense, automation, and industrial).

 

Duties:

• Create and prepare files for 3D printers to support production
• Assist on production floor (set up and verify jobs, troubleshoot and resolve printing issues)
• Work with production team to schedule parts and print jobs
• Prioritize and organize orders based on urgency and deadlines
• Maintain all related documentation and records of print jobs
• Collaborate and work closely with design, engineering and production teams
• Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives

 

 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role working with 3D printing processes and equipment.
• Strong Computer Skills: CAD systems, Microsoft Office Suite, 3D print file preparation software (Netfabb and/or Magics experience is a plus).
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexible work style: open to cross training and assisting in different departments
• High School Diploma or equivalent
