Quality Technician 1/18+/NB

Located in Nappenee, IN

Salary: 18+

Hours: Monday - Saturday, 5am - 3:30pm/ with potential to work till 5pm.

 

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician with experience in the RV industry to maintain standards of quality control at the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all materials, in-process production, and finished products meet established quality specifications through testing and inspections.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; reject and return unacceptable materials.
• Monitor in-process production by verifying specifications, conducting tests, and communicating necessary adjustments to production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Confirm specifications of finished products through visual and measurement tests; direct defective items back for re-work and confirm quality of re-worked products.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of inspections, summarize re-work and waste, and manage data entry into the quality database.
• Ensure measurement equipment is operational and well-maintained, following operating instructions and coordinating repairs as needed.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards by engaging in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Technician, specifically in the RV industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and implement technical documentation and drawings.
• Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration with various teams.
• Technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
• Great computer skills with Microsoft products including Excel.
