 Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

A local Birmingham company is searching for an Forklift Operator who will have core responsibilities in:

• Reading and following instructions 
• Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin and end the process.

You will work directly with other warehouse staff for reciprocal production goals. With room to grow, it’s relevant to point out that they do tend to promote from within. Work as an forklift operator with us, and we''ll offer you a defined career path.

Primary Responsibilities

• Works with material and equipment to handle, transport and process product and materials (i.e. overhead cranes, fork trucks).
• Operates various forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Performs daily housekeeping in specified area
• Other duties as assigned
• Operates STARSHIP program

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand work instructions
• Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience working with metal processing is a plus.
• Experience with forklift 
• Must have steady job history
• Must have FEDEX/UPS Experience

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk, climb, lift, push, and pull
• The work is performed in a heavy industrial environment with high levels of noise
