Growing company in Elgin is looking for a 1^st shift Saw Machine Operator! This is a long term position with a great company.

 

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate saws to alter the product to exact measurements per customer specifications.
• Review drawings and paperwork to alter the product.
• Clean immediate work areas used that day.
• Select the proper product from stock to fulfill orders.
• Maintain machines with proper oiling, cleaning, and adjustment as needed.
• Provide communication to supervisors or managers when problems arise.
• Complete paperwork as necessary.
• Clean work areas entirely.
• Check coolant stability and cleanliness.
• Check oil and grease levels in all machines and fill them as needed.

 

Machine Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong math skills
• Previous machine operating experience
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read scales and use a tape measure

Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay: $14.00/hr
