Our client was founded in 1946 and is the largest producer of open web steel joist and joist girders in North America. They are currently looking for several assembly workers that have experience working in steel companies or with tack welding. The company would like successful candidates to be a go-getter, mechanically inclined, and hard-working.
Our client in Ancaster is looking for Full-Time employees to work an on-going position in their manufacturing/warehouse setting. This position is not bus accessible, candidates must have their own vehicle.
Job Description:
- Loading and unloading of trailers using a forklift, crane and combilift, in house training provided
- Safely move and store materials within the shop
- Ensure accurate & timely processing of all shipping & receiving documents
- Cross check all documents with purchase orders for accuracy and entry in the system
- Frequent heavy lifting of materials
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years experience in a shipping/receiving role
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Safety conscious attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working outdoors -- 90% of shift spent outside, running around and moving constantly.
Shift Times:
- Rotating days and afternoon shifts are required Days - 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Afternoons 3:00 pm-12:00 am
- Monday-Friday, Weekends for Overtime if you would like!
