Key Accountabilities:
Develops and administers Human Resources objectives and programs
Prepare and manage weekly payroll
Maintain human resources information in HRIS
Manage all recruiting efforts
Administer training and development, employee assistance, and employment equity programs
Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees.
Administer all WSIB reporting requirements
Education:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Working towards or possessing CHRP designation is considered an asset.
Desired characteristics and Experience:
HR administration experience with an Ontario based manufacturing company
Able to demonstrate knowledge of current Employment legislation
Organized and has the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience working in a team-based environment.
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
