Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and stages outbound orders.
• Loads and unloads inbound and outbound trucks.
• Receives materials into the system and generates GRN labels.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift) to move materials from one part of the plant to another.
• Steel band and/or power stretch-wrap pallets as specified per customer''s specifications. 
• Responsible for maintaining a safe clean work environment for OSHA and 5-S compliance.
• Rotation of stock to ensure FIFO.
• Proper storage of non compatible products in designated storage areas to comply with Fire Department regulations.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience with  pulling orders, staging, re-palletizing, etc.
• Forklift license a plus but not required for hire; will  be certified on site. 
• Warehouse Lead experience preferred to potentially grow.
• General clean up duties; sweeping, squeegee floors, operation of floor scrubber, etc.
• Able to use an iPad to scan QR codes.
• Must be able to read, comprehend written and verbal instructions.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Equipment Used:

• Forklift, Pallet jack, shrink wrapper, iPad, etc.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, move upto 50lb bags and ability to move raw material drums up to 700lbs with use of appropriate material handling devices.

 

Qualities Preferred:

• Understand and follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Reliable, punctual and work well with team members.
