Press Break Operator

Located in Salem, OR

Salary: $20-$25 DOE

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a Press Brake Operator for a Salem area metal fabrication company. This EVALUATION TO HIRE position is ideal for candidates who have worked in a warehouse setting and have previous press brake or similar experience.

 

Position includes:

• Operate a hydraulic press brake to process plate and sheet metal as specified by work orders and drawings
• Maintain clean working environment at all times
• Conduct maintenance on equipment and tools
• Assist team members with other projects as needed
• Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane to move materials and machinery
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Experience/ Skills Needed:

• Previous experience with operating a press, or similar work experience
• Previous forklift experience
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings
• Basic math skills

 

This is a Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm position located in Salem, OR

Pay: $20-$25/hr, Depending on Experience
