Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, implementing and maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring the efficient operation of our housekeeping department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards to maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout the property.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinate with management to address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy and cleanliness inspections.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and housekeeping management software is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
