Our client located in Cary, IL is looking for Assemblers to work on their 1st shift team! In this position, you will strip and terminate wire, braze, solder, and assemble parts. 

 

Pay: $17.51/hr

Hours: M-F | 7:00am - 3:30pm

 

Assembler Responsibilities:

• Assembly of parts
• Read blueprints
• Strip and terminate wire
• Brazing/Soldering
• Prepare & preheat permanent/sand molds
• Prepare and preheat elements
• Install elements on molds
• Pour aluminum into permanent/sand molds
• Spray and/or pour permanent molds as instructed
• Cut risers and gates as required
• Clean, fill and maintain melting furnace
• Clean and organize work station on a daily basis

 

Assembler Qualifications:

• High school or GED preferred
• Dependable
• Ability to read scales and rulers
• Brazing and soldering experience preferred
• Read and interpret prints (preferred)
• Experience using hand tools (drills, split pliers and open ended wrenches)
• Basic math skills
• Safety/quality minded
• Good work ethic
• Organized and detail oriented
• Self-starter
