We are seeking an administrative assistant for our client in the Oakville area. As an Administrative Assistant you will work closely with the other staff to facilitate day-to-day full cycle accounting including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities
· Posting of receivables and payables into QuickBooks.
· Bank statements reconciliations, credit card statements reconciliation, and vendor statements reconciliations.
· Assist with incoming phone calls during peak periods, vacations and or absences. Manage incoming calls to facility, answering questions and/or directing them to the appropriate team member.
· Assist with maintaining filing systems.
· Collect data and prepare monthly reports.
· Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
· Must have good communication skills
· Various administrative functions as required.
· Monitor incoming centralized email queue (client portal) including providing a response and distribution to appropriate team member.
Qualifications
· 1+ years of experience working in an administrative position
· 1+ years experience in Quickbooks required.
· Strong computer skills, able to learn new programs with ease
· Strong administrative and clerical skills
· Strong customer service skills
· Ability to adapt in a changing environment
· Able to work in constantly changing environment and prioritize tasks
