We are seeking an experienced Cost Analyst who is well versed in the manufacturing setting. In this role you will be responsible for determining the actual costs associated with the manufacturing of all company products, performing profitability analysis, and assisting with the budgeting process. This is a direct hire position!

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the organization's cost accounting system and corresponding documents
• Analyze costs and variances, suggesting solutions and improvements for significant differences
• Evaluate manufacturing costs and create regular reports comparing expected costs to actual costs
• Assist in developing new products and creating estimates regarding their costs
• Generate monthly inventory reports and assist with inventory counts
• Help with annual cost reviews and month-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate ledger accounts and reconcile inventory balances
• Assist auditors according to the internal audit schedule
• Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures
• Provide support to the accounts payable team as needed
• Adhere to strict safety procedures and guidelines

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
• 3-8 years of accounting experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of MRP systems required
• Experience with SAP or similar software is a plus

 

Schedule: This is a full-time position operating from Monday-Friday
