Full-time, salaried with benefits. Our client is a 5-star center offering full-time childcare for infant through 4-year-old children (120+ children) and after school and summer camp programs for school-age children (40+ children).
 
The center has full enrollment, excellent staff (35+ staff members), and a stellar reputation in the community. The successful candidate will have administrative experience supervising a large staff within the early childhood or elementary education system and be a committed and like minded individual with a heart for ministering to young children and their families. 

The Director shall supervise all administrative operations of the Learning Center to include:
1.    Develop, implement, and maintain procedures necessary to ensure a quality program and a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children.
2.    Evaluate and recommend short- and long-range goals, objectives, and procedures; effect changes that will enhance the quality and reputation of the center.
3.    Hire, supervise, and train employees and organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments.
4.    Assure adherence to all applicable health and state licensing standards.
5.    Effectively manage budgets, enrollment, income and expenses, payroll, and staff schedules
6.    Positively represent and effectively promote the overall ministries of the Church to teachers, families, and the community. 
7.    Develop and nurture an outreach ministry through our Learning Center
 
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
•    Ability to foster a cooperative work environment for staff and a supportive and caring environment for all children.
•    Ability to communicate and work within a diverse community.
•    Ability to prepare budgets, fiscal management and maintain operational procedures.
•    Ability to analyze and solve problems.
•    Ability to plan and implement an appropriate curriculum with engaging lesson plans 
•    Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and social and emotional development of children  
•    Knowledge of ECERS and ITERS standards and requirements
•    Minimum associate degree required – preference of Childcare Administration I and II credentials.
