SUMMARY: Local 42 year old multinational industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Control Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible to establish and maintain basis for quality control, quality standards, inspection and test methods and procedures for the organization. Determine and recommend necessary inspection required for incoming and in process inspection, sampling, vendor and FMAL testing and inspection of finished products. Supervise various inspections and test procedures, and establish and maintain records necessary for quality control, including charts, statistical analyses and reports. Plan work in conjunction with subordinates, assist in determining causes for faulty work, failure to maintain quality, scrap or rejects, and work with department supervisors on quality problems.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned as needed:

· Creates and processes procedures (SOP’s) and instructions for production floor

· Implements and ensures company policies are uniformly followed and enforced.

· Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products

· Complete processing ECN’s for the Engineering Department

· Maintain track sheets, deviation log, calibration database, Daily Action Log, Reject Reports, Problem Alerts, calculating factors, such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, and amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates

· Edit review and document failure analysis for RMA’s

· Maintain controlled documents. drawing plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability. Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality

· Works with Quality Inspectors ensuring proper inspection procedures are followed

· Works closely with other departments, i.e. production, purchasing, engineering, quality, customer service to ensure the completion of common goals.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Certification in Quality Assurance is required with a minimum of three years of work experience

· Knowledge and experience with auditing systems based on ISO 9001:2015 requirements

· BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant field

· Requires proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office,

· Beneficial if familiar with Crystal Reports, Sequel Server or Macola

· Requires the ability to think and act independently

· Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a team player

· Must be able to schedule, plan and have time-management skills necessary in order to ensure that the appropriate staff members are assigned to a task to facilitate time completion of projects

· Hands on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies

· In-depth understanding of technical documentation

 

 

PAY AND BENEFITS:

$30.00 - $32.00 to start (DOE)

Full benefits package after full time hire (EOE)
