Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator position with a great company located in the Bradenton, FL area. $18.50-$19.50/hr with Bi Weekly Pay.

Duties Include:
- Set up CNC lathes by installing fixtures, tools, and loading materials into the machine.
- Operate CNC lathes to perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, and other machining operations.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify conformance to specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with machine tools, cutting tools, or workpieces to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components, to keep CNC machines in optimal condition.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC lathe machinist, with a strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
- Ability to work from 4pm-1:30am - Thursday and train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks at 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and technical specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
