Salary: up to $16.00

A construction company in Morgantown is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This role offers a great Monday – Friday work schedule of 7:00 am – 4:00pm.  Compensation for this position will be based on experience, up to $16.00 hourly.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes visitors and maintains the main reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications, and favorable public relations, both internally and externally.
  • Answers, screens, and redirects high volume of incoming calls; receives and routes incoming e-faxes to appropriate recipient.
  • Assists in the coordination and execution of overall administrative activities for the office. Schedules conference rooms and assists with Company meetings and events, as requested.
  • Provides administrative assistance to senior executives and visiting Company officials, including travel and meeting arrangements, document/spreadsheet development, printing, scanning, etc.
  • Fields and troubleshoots maintenance/repair/housekeeping complaints and requests and interfaces, as appropriate, with building management, engineers and janitorial staff on maintenance and repairs.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail; ensures proper postage/shipping labels are affixed to outgoing mail; determines proper recipients of incoming mail and ensures timely delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency using office software including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time-management, multi-tasking skills, and initiative.
  • Must be highly-organized and have a strong sense of teamwork.

Experience/Education:

  • High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience providing administrative support or office manager experience
