Express Employment Professionals of Frederick is looking for a Welder/Fabricator for a valued client. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of TiG, MiG, or Stick Welding experience. 

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on metal pieces using calipers, rulers, and other measuring tools
• Operate power tools such as grinders, saws, and drills to cut, shape, and smooth metal pieces
• Build and assemble metal components using welding techniques such as stick welding
• Fabricate ductwork, frames, and other metal structures according to specifications
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards

What we look for:

• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including stick welding
• Experience with plasma cutting and operating power tools
• Ability to accurately measure and mark dimensions using calipers and rulers
• Familiarity with fabricating ductwork and metal structures
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
