Job Description:

Machine setup, inspection, preventative maintenance and work order service.
Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
Diagnose, repair, replace, and/or overhaul all mechanical components for numerous types of equipment.
Complete daily job documentation.
Electrical/Electronic wiring & controls.
PLC & programmable controller systems experience.
Read/interpret maintenance manuals and electrical & mechanical schematics/drawings.
Use of measuring & testing instruments: calipers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, pressure gauges etc.
Daily application of electrical, mechanical, and fluid/hydraulics experience to diagnose and repair equipment.
Field support at customer locations.
Adhere to all safety requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment.
3-5 years of related experience in packing/ production machines
Experience in a food manufacturing plant preferred.
Must possess effective communication skills (verbal and written).
Able to work independently and as a team member.
Must be self-motivated.
Experience in hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and electrical/electronic systems.
Must be able to read/interpret schematics and formulate an effective troubleshooting plan.
Able to meet physical requirements; lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, stooping, and standing on feet for long periods of time.
Willing to be flexible with work weekends and other shifts as needed.
