Salary: $90/$100K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    This position will be the subject matter expert in quality for the locations with deep knowledge of our processes and quality programs.
    Set quality benchmarks (Quality standards & KPIs)
    Create quality programs and process used by operations to ensure safe quality and food practices
    Identify, impact and correct quality trends through reporting and communication with the sites. Hold sites accountable for adherence to standards.
    Ensure quality control processes are followed through quality audits. (SOPs, SSOPs GMPs)
    Make quality and food safety apparent in our culture through awareness, campaigns, signage and training.
    Build an effective quality structure for the sites.
    Train FMs/Quality Managers on quality programs and procedures
    Serve as the point for regulatory compliance for the customer and external entities.
    Attend and participate in all quality summits, reviews and audits and required by the customer.
    Develop, implement and manage the crisis management plan and team for the organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will manage 5 Quality Managers at each site managing their work and direction in coordination with the site managers.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
General:

    Maintains a high level of business courtesy and etiquette when interacting with Customers, Vendors, and Sales representatives
    Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills
    Willingness to work additional hours as necessary
    Authorized to work in the U.S.
    Possess knowledge of pest control and sanitary practices.
Education/Experience:
    Bachelors degree required, with 5+ years directly related work experience in production, quality and food safety in food or consumer packaged goods.
    Prior auditing experience with AIB or SQF
    Analytical skills required for determining quality trends, data analysis and problem solving.
Computer Skills:
    Strong computer skills including operating Windows based personal computers and using Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel (intermediate level or higher
Math/Language/Reasoning Abilities:
    Ability to clearly express oneself verbally and in writing in the English language using good grammar and vocabulary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include strong presentation, project and organizational skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required. · Bias for results, goal oriented, and proven experience working with a team to achieve excellence.

    Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately
