Traffic Coordinator Job Description Team with Office clerk to ensure accurate completion of tasks on time Answer phones and emails Check voicemails and report them to the proper departments Keep track of Inbound/Outbound containers through use of 2 way radio communication Log containers/trucks in google docs Confirm which containers have been returned through the use of terminal websites & software Direct inbound/outbound trucker traffic. Ensure truckers are proceeding as instructed. Give paperwork/seal to truckers Monitor yard balance and congestion. Review daily expectation with each trucking company. Follow-up as needed throughout the day to ensure trucker adherence to A&R instructions Prepare release summaries for the customer once a booking is completed Share completed google docs for the trucker once a booking is completed Populate invoicing spreadsheets'' with booking and container information for the accounts payable department Assist Operations Manager/Plant Manager as needed
