Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Pain Management Center team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and clinical support, with a focus on delivering high-quality, personalized care to our patients. Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Obtain patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints, accurately documenting all information in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Perform various clinical tasks, including venipuncture, medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection.
  • Assist with in-office procedures and provide patient education and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with pharmacy and other healthcare providers to ensure timely medication refills and treatment follow-up.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
