Salary: $20/hour to $30/hour

We have a direct-hire opportunity for a skilled I&E Technician with a water management company.  The Instrumentation and Electrical Tech uses gauges and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions and mechanic hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain instrument calibration documentation and CMMS database.
• Maintain computers and software packages relevant to the design, modification, installation, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of instrument application and operation and the electrical and mechanical principles involved in repair, testing, and calibration.
• Maintenance and calibration of process instrumentation devices, electrical power distribution and monitoring devices, VFD drives, and motor control.
• Performs preventive and predictive maintenance, including calibration, using data collectors, testing and diagnostic tools, and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Investigate equipment failures and determine the root cause of failure.
• Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns.
• Assist in developing and improving the plant mechanical integrity program.

Requirements:

• Must be familiar with VFD structure and be able to determine causes of failure and be able to repair (prefer AB experience)
