The Service Station Tech plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and assisting with vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. This position supports the coordination of service schedules, inventory management, and facility upkeep, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patrons.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate vehicle service scheduling, maintenance, and deliveries.
• Assist in identifying vehicle repair needs and perform light mechanical work, lubrication, and tire maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of service station facilities, including Cardtrol/pump areas and tool organization.
• Promote new products and assist with inventory management and advertising.
• Conduct fuel and propane inventory checks and meter readings.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and assist with customer check-out processes.
• Support inventory management, including monthly inspections and ordering of supplies.
• Assist in various tasks such as filling propane tanks, conducting inspections, and performing inventory checks.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer operation skills required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Capacity to handle physical demands, including lifting and manual labor.
• Willingness to learn and pursue additional education opportunities.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Requires frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of over 100 pounds.
• Climbing ladders and stairs may be necessary.
• Good vision and manual dexterity required.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards, including moving machinery and chemicals.
• Noise level may be loud at times.
