We are searching for a Commercial Construction Estimator to join the team of a well-known construction company in Brighton, MI.

Position: Commercial Construction Estimator

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation: Up to $100,000

About the Commercial Construction Estimator: The Commercial Construction Estimator will have a strong background in estimating commercial construction projects, including preparing cost estimates, analyzing blueprints and specifications, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate pricing.

What You’ll Do:

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and site visits as required.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating in both plan spec and conceptual.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
