JOB DESCRIPTION

An Express Employment Professionals client located in the south of Calgary is looking for a High Reach Forklift Operator and Pick Packer to join their team.

Our client seeks an individual adept at thriving in high-paced environments, possessing exceptional communication and organizational skills, and aspiring for long-term growth opportunities

Shift: 7:30am -4:00pm

Pay: $21-23/hr

Start: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick orders using a Reach Truck
• Prepare products and materials for shipment, assist with shipping and receiving tasks, building skids, heavy lifting, operating a counterbalance, and use a pallet jack
• Adhere to safety procedures and policies
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a smaller team
• Able to accurately follow both verbal and written instructions

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 Years of Experience with operating a Reach forklift
• Forklift certification is looked at as an asset
• 2 Years of Warehouse Experience an contain prior experience with picking and packing or shipping and receiving tasks
• Must be okay with getting off the forklift to do warehouse tasks
• Must be a trainable and motivated individual looking for a long-term growth opportunity. While also containing confidence in performing various warehouse tasks and forklift operation.
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs
