Express is seeking a dedicated Carpet Cleaning Technician for a cleaning company in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpet cleaning and floor care, with a strong focus on maintaining cleanliness in commercial settings.

Pay: $17/hr
Hours: M-F 7:30am-5pm

Job duties:
- Perform carpet cleaning and floor care duties in various commercial environments
- Utilize buffing machines and other equipment to maintain cleanliness and appearance of carpets and floors
- Follow established procedures for environmental services and custodial tasks
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently
- Perform other cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines
- Notify management of any maintenance or repairs needed
- Driving to the client's location, assessing the needs of the customer
- Applying stain or cleaning treatments
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards

 

Requirements:
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning, buffing, floor care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
- Complete work to high standards
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
- Lift up to 50 lbs, work 8-10 hour shifts
- Able to work every other Saturday, flexible with hours, sometimes work night jobs

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling
- Certification in cleaning or sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with using cleaning equipment such as floor buffers or carpet cleaners
