Assembler - 1st Shift Temporary 

 

A leading production company in the Rockford area is looking for a great candidate to join their team! They are looking for an individual that has prior assembly experience, but is willing to learn new skills. Ideally, the right person will have a mind for safety and a drive to work. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm, with overtime on Saturday''s as needed. Shift may adjust to 10-12 hour shifts if required by production. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform deburring, detailing, and assembly of test accumulators
• Assist with detailing and assembly 
• Perform duties to complete and file inspection and test reports 
• Perform or assist with final operations which includes painting, rust prevention, packing, and crating
• Regular lifting of 50lbs, if more, lift assistance given 

 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs regularly Lift assistance required for 41 pounds or more
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong mathematic ability 
• Be a great team player
