Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and train of brokers and customers using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products and services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.
• Research customer needs and develop application of products and services by determining market strategies and goals.
• Following up on sales leads and developing leads, maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets, establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner by developing sales and marketing proposals for customers, making presentations to users, making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads and meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals.
• Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers by communicating openly, honestly, and constructively.
• Assist in major trade shows outside of the defined territory, completion of trip reports and assisting customer service in collection of past due accounts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, food science, business, or marketing.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in Sales and Marketing in the food industry.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, ERP System
