A large trucking company in Decatur, IL has an immediate need for a Trailer Technician.  The company provides long haul, over-the-road delivery for clients across the USA with over 300 drivers.  This is a great opportunity with an excellent locally owned company.

 

Qualifications for Trailer Technician

• Mechanical experience
• Previous auto, truck, or small engine technician experience is preferred
• Solid work history
• Appropriate tools
• Knowledge of trailer electrical systems is a plus
• Able to lift #50 lbs

 

Responsibilities for Trailer Technician

• Changing tires
• Replacing brakes
• General mechanical maintenance
• Tarp repair
• Lubrication
• Replacing lighting
• Resolving electrical problems
