WELDER - GONZALES

 

Are you a TIG Welder looking for a shop job that allows you to be at home with your family every night?  We are seeking an expert level TIG WELDER for an IMMEDIATE long term opportunity with a growing company in Ascension Parish. Shop job, no rain outs, consistent day shift schedule.

 

Duties:

• Associate will perform complex welding procedures on process equipment
• Learn the company processes in order to fully understand and improve skills to become an integral part of the overall success of company
• Assist with other shop related repairs as needed

 

Experience and Requirements:

• MUST have a MINIMUM of 3 - 5 years of TIG welding experience, and have PROVEN excellent TIG skills
• MUST be proficient with Wire Feed techniques
• Experience welding on pressure vessels is preferred
• Fitting experience preferred
• Experience welding on exotic metals is a plus
• Must pass 6G weld test
• Willing to travel on occasion for short periods for special training/certification
• Committed to being at work for all scheduled shifts and able to work overtime when needed for hot job
• Reliable transportation
• Drug free and able to pass DISA screening at any time
• Background check will be completed

Pay $16 - 22/hour DOE.
