Salary: ~120K + 10% bonus

Job Type: Permanent with Benefits

Pay: ~120K + up to 10% bonus (paid at the beginning of the year, for the previous year)

Regular Schedule: M-F 8am- 5pm

On-Call Schedule: 7-10 days/month: M-F 5pm- 6am, all day/night on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays (Must be available via phone, occasionally will need to go in to fix an issue)

Our client is on the leading edge of semiconductor manufacturing technology, and they are looking to add a Facilities Manager to their team. This person will oversee the operation, maintenance, and upgrades of all facility equipment, systems, and controls. This includes managing contractors, developing maintenance schedules, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees, contractors, and guests.

*MUST HAVE CLEANROOM AND SEMICONDCUTOR EXPERIENCE*

Essential Functions:

  • Manage facility support agreements and contractor safety
  • Create and manage the facilities budget
  • Maintain facility operations to minimize disruptions and ensure safety
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules in collaboration with engineering
  • Serve as the central point of contact for facility-related issues
  • Ensure maintenance and repairs are completed within budget and downtime is minimized
  • Handle internal work orders for building and equipment maintenance promptly
  • Supervise property contracts for various services
  • Plan and oversee construction, remodeling, and repair projects within budget and timeline
  • Investigate equipment failures and develop solutions
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of facility and cleanroom support systems
  • Manage safety, industrial hygiene, and workplace preparedness efforts
  • Oversee chemical handling, storage, waste management, and disposal
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and OSHA regulations
  • Act as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and participate in on-call rotation
  • Report facility-related key performance indicators to senior management
  • Maintain a relationship with the landlord in leased spaces
  • Assist in negotiations of facilities service agreements and contracts
  • Supervise Facilities Technician
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor environment with cleanroom operation experience
  • Previous experience in both facility engineering and management roles
  • Certification in building, cleanroom, and facility life safety control systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience with facility and cleanroom preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair and maintenance skills
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with environmental and safety laws
  • Strong initiative, customer service orientation, and knowledge in risk, governance, and compliance
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety practices
