Salary: $18-20/hour
Summary: Express is looking for a skilled Batch Operator for a food/chemical company in Bedford Park. Contract Manufacturers and Packagers of a wide variety of consumer, industrial, private label, and institutional products You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control for your packaging line.
Pay: $18-20/hour, DOE
Hours:
1st shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 2:30pm
2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 2:00am
Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate plant operations and activities for your line
- Maintain quality standards
- Perform change overs
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
- Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience is a must
- Previous machine operation experience
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
