Express Employment is seeking interested candidates for a warehouse worker position at a lumber store. This is a long term integral part of the organization. Monday - Friday. 7:30AM - 4PM. $18/Hr. Benefits package when hired on.

 

The role will play a vital part in ensuring the lumberyard runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, unloading, storing, and loading lumber and building materials. Also assist customers with locating products and loading them onto their vehicles.

 

Responsibilities:

• Safely unload incoming deliveries of lumber and building materials
• Operate a forklift to move and stack pallets of lumber
• Organize and maintain the lumberyard in a clean and safe manner
• Assist customers in locating lumber and building materials
• Load customer purchases onto vehicles securely
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations

 

Qualifications:

• Lift and move heavy objects 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver''s license (preferred)
• Forklift certification a plus (willing to train)
