Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS REQUIRED CHECKS TO OBTAIN MILITARY BASE ACCESS. 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN APPRENTICE REQUIRED

Position Summary: Electrical Apprentices are individuals undergoing training to become skilled electricians. They work under the supervision of experienced electricians and are responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role involves hands-on work, learning technical skills, and following safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Installation and Maintenance:

   • Work alongside experienced electricians to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, components, and equipment.
   • Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and safe installations.

2. Conduct Wiring and Connections:

   • Assist in running wires, connecting circuits, and ensuring proper electrical connections in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
   • Learn to troubleshoot and identify issues in existing electrical systems.

3. Compliance with Electrical Codes:

   • Familiarize oneself with local, state, and national electrical codes to ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
   • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.

4. Use of Tools and Equipment:

   • Gain proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment commonly used in the electrical trade.
   • Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work effectively as part of a team, taking direction from experienced electricians and communicating progress and challenges.
   • Interact professionally with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.

6. Continuous Learning:

   • Attend training sessions, workshops, and classes to enhance knowledge of electrical systems, new technologies, and safety practices.
   • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

7. Adherence to Safety Protocols:

   • Strictly adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
   • Report any unsafe conditions or practices to supervisors.

8. Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details, repairs, and any modifications made to electrical systems.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
