Salary: $18-20/hr

FOUNDRY MELTER

 

Shift:  1st shift 6a-2:30p

Pay: $18-20/hr BOE
Where:  Near East side of Indpls

This is a Temp/Perm position for the right candidate

 

Duties:

• operates electric furnace to melt a variety of metals & alloys
• charges induction furnaces with prescribed proportions or weights of material
• shuts off current,tilts furnace & pours molten metal into molds at the proper temp
• change crucibles and repair

Qualifications:

• at least 9 months-1 year prior foundry experience at one company
• able to use decimals, fractions & work formulas, heat charts & melting specifications
• use of pyrometer, voltmeter and current meter
