Express Employment Professionals is working with a client in the Rochester NY area looking for a Customer Service representative for their Retail location.

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a medical background, or knowledge of insurance claims processing & medical terms. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet customers; Creating a warm and inviting environment to make them feel welcome.
• Learn about all products sold and attend any in-services and/or training on any items we carry or may bring in.
• Answer phone calls and either assist customer or guide them to the correct department to answer their questions.
• Educate customers on both products they originally needed as well as products that may benefit their daily lifestyle.
• Adjust products to customer (braces, walkers, stockings, crutches, knee scooters, canes, lift chairs, etc.)
• Verify customer prescriptions contain all proper information.
• Verify insurance coverage for customers (if the product is covered, deductibles met, which is primary, etc.)
• Process paperwork to doctors and insurance companies in a timely manner

 

This is a full time position working Monday - Friday 8:30a - 5p

Pay based on experience starting at $18/hr
