**Job Title: Receiving Warehouse Support**

**Job Summary:**
As a Receiving Warehouse Support, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the receiving process within the warehouse environment. You will be tasked with receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments, as well as assisting with inventory management and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

 

**Responsibilities:**

1. Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials.
2. Inspect deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and any damages.
3. Record received items into the inventory system and update inventory records.
4. Assist with unloading and unpacking of shipments.
5. Verify quantities of received items against purchase orders or packing slips.
6. Communicate any discrepancies or damages to appropriate personnel.
7. Organize received items in designated storage areas within the warehouse.
8. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
9. Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
10. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
11. Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed (if applicable).
12. Support other warehouse activities as directed by management.

 

**Qualifications:**

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred.
3. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
4. Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

 

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
