We are seeking candidates with Machine Operating experience to be considered for an Assistant Pourline Technician opportunity with a foam manufacturing client in Middleton. 

 

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Assists in running the foam machine during pouring operations.

• Performing a variety of general clerical functions such as, typing, using a mouse, 10-key calculator, and data entry.
• Complies reports, sorts, and files records, maintains files and records, and posts data.
• Adjusts physical and chemical inputs to maximize foaming yields.
• Manages raw material tank inventory levels suitable for production.
• Follows the procedure to set up the foam machine and equipment for production.
• Follows the procedure to shut down and clean the foam machine and equipment after production.
• Communicates and delegates set up and shutdown tasks.
• Assists “back end” crew emptying foam racks and cutting scrap before production when available.
• Performs general machine maintenance and PM’s, often using hand tools.
• Participates in improvement projects and activities.
• Orders basic supplies and equipment parts.
• Unload rail cars and tank trucks.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, count and possess a good understanding of math, including the ability to compute fractions, ratios, weights and percentages.
• Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, requests, and problems to fellow employees and supervisors on a one-to-one basis, as well as over the phone and in written form.
  Able to use spreadsheets, web browsers, and understand basic computer functions.
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential required function of this position.

Schedule: 1st shift, 6am-2pm Mon-Fri with overtime as needed

 

Pay: $20.50/hr.
