Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter to join our team. The Cycle Counter will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations. We are hiring a Cycle Counter for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. These positions offer many benefits including:

Responsibilities:
- To track and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Conduct physical audits of material locations.
- Follow up on all parts missing to include checking with our quality department/ quarantine / parts on hold and to follow through.
- To check the purchase order status, contact the supplier if necessary and engage our customer (the planner) though every step of our process.
- To review parts history in inventory system.
- Liaises with team leaders, and the customer as needed.
- Performs cycle counts to support the Cycle Count Plan.
- Reconciles all surplus material and stock returns daily.
- Assists in resolving inventory discrepancies and helps perform root cause analysis so corrective actions can be implemented.
- Actively performs housekeeping tasks to ensure clean and healthy environment.
- Attend daily production meetings, as requested.
Experience:
- Fork Lift Truck Driver certification preferred or willing to become certified.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a related position in an automotive or similar work environment.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Previous experience with cycle counting would be an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
