EXPRESS NOW HIRING ! We are seeking a proactive and organized Working Crew Chief to join our team. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience along with a hands-on approach to assist with set up tasks. As a Crew Chief, you will be responsible for managing a small team of 3-4 individuals, setting the pace for efficient work completion, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing order forms and ensuring all materials are loaded onto the truck
Discussing with clients the location of items and any specific requirements
Directing the crew during set up and take down, which includes tents, tables, chairs, bars, lighting, fans/heaters, etc.
Ensuring the quality of work and maintaining customer satisfaction
Effective communication with clients
Weekend availability is required, with a likelihood of having a day off during the week instead
Willingness to undergo on-the-job training provided by Lee
Physical work involving approximately 2-4 jobs per day, mostly outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compliance with the dress code: provided t-shirts, jeans/shorts, and closed-toed shoes (boots/tennis shoes)
Requirements:

Previous experience in construction or building is preferred
Background in manual labor roles with some management background
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 26-foot box truck; primarily operating within the Lexington and Columbia areas
Willingness to cross-train and gain an understanding of operations in the office and warehouse
Availability for warehouse duties during the slow season, including cleaning, fixing items, organizing, etc.
