EQUIPMENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Pay:                             Base Salary, plus commission on equipment sales

Job Description:

Looking for a talented and competitive Equipment Sales Representative who with the ability to excel in a fast-paced sales environment. You must be comfortable making multiple calls & jobsite visits per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.  This sales position is based out of Lake City, FL.

Responsibilities

          Travel throughout assigned territory to primarily sell equipment and secondarily any supplemental products. 

          Develop new customers and maintain existing customer base in assigned territory.

          Understands the sales process and possesses the ability to move through the different stages.

          Partner with the customer to determine their specific needs to equip them with the right product for their company.

          Manage product demonstrations, installations, and application support.

          Works to create a partnership with customer’s business.

          Maintains current knowledge of programs and financing to assist in the selling of new and used equipment.

          Promotes and always embraces company Core Values.

          Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

          Collaborate with the service department to address customer complaints effectively.

          Collaborate with the Sales Manager with customer financing process.

          Provide up to date sales reports to the Sales Manager (daily, weekly, and/or monthly).

          Achieve monthly and annual quota objectives.

 

 

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

 

         2+ years equipment sales experience or territory-based selling.

         Knowledge of the construction Industry and operational practices.

         Ability to use IOS platform and Microsoft applications such as excel, word, etc.

         Familiarity with using a CRM system.

         Ability to work flexible hours.

         Excellent customer relationship skills.

         Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.

         Bilingual (Spanish / English) a plus.

 

Qualifications

         A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.

         Direct experience as a compact equipment salesperson is a major plus.

         Must be self-motivated, organized, and responsive.

         Required to physically load/unload, operate, and demonstrate equipment.

         Must have a clean driving record.  (CDL license a plus).

         Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
