3:30 pm to 2 am Monday to Thursday

Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality? We are hiring for a Metal Stamping Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this entry-level position, you will play a vital role in ensuring our metal stamped products meet the highest standards supporting Tier 1 automotive and other industries.

Metal Stamping Inspector Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections and record quality data on stamped metal components
• Identify and properly route defective products for rework or scrap per procedures
• Utilize inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, height gauges to verify dimensions
• Detect and report any defective components or questionable conditions to the Quality Manager
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly inspection area adhering to all safety regulations
• Perform all duties with an emphasis on workplace safety and production efficiency
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements for Quality Inspector:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous quality inspection or metrology background a major plus
• Ability to read basic blueprints and perform precise measurements
• Steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection required (other PPE may be needed)
• Basic computer skills to log inspection data
• Specific knowledge of stamping press operations and quality processes preferred
