Structural Welder

Salary: $27/hour

An Edmonton client is searching for a Structural Welder to join their team.

Structural Welder Highlights:

·         Safely use tools and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist others in maintaining theirs.

·         Perform work at heights, with training provided as necessary.

·         Read and fabricate structural steel components (e.g., skids, ladders & platforms, tanks) based on IFC drawings.

·         Collaborate effectively within a team setting or work independently as required.

·         Demonstrate physical capability to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, and navigate equipment, ladders, and other structures with agility.

·         Requirements:

·         Previous experience as a structural welder preferred.

·         Proficiency in reading and interpreting IFC drawings.

·         Strong commitment to workplace safety.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Physical strength and agility to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and maneuver in various environments.

·         Willingness to work at heights with training provided.

·         High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

·         Additional Details:

·         This role involves working with structural steel components, including skids, ladders & platforms, and tanks.

·         Training will be provided for working at heights, but candidates should be comfortable with this aspect of the job.

·         The ability to collaborate with team members and work independently is essential for success in this role.

·         A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area is required to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

·         06:00 am – 04:30 pm – Monday to Friday

·         $27/hour
