Forklift Operator

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00

Our client, located in the South, is currently looking for a responsible and experienced Full-Time Forklift Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate is familiar with operating a counter-balance forklift and has a positive attitude!

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift on a frequent basis
• Previous order picking, material handling or warehouse experience
• Ability to work independently/in a team
• Must be able and willing to learn
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
  

Assets:

• Own vehicle
• Valid Forklift certification
  

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Lift up to 50lbs
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move products and skids within facility
• Load and unload trucks with forklift, electric pallet jack and/or manual pallet jack
• Complete documentation (pick list / bill of lading)
• Maintain a clean warehouse and clear debris to avoid injury hazards
• Move stock and maintain inventory
• Conduct pre / post use inspections on forklifts
• Work safely and efficiently
• Other duties as assigned
  

The wage for this position starts between $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depend. The ideal candidate is a team player, motivated, and reliable.

Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:00am – 40 hours per week
