Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us maintain the beauty and functionality of our property.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of common areas and grounds, including trash pickup, playground upkeep, stairwell and railing maintenance, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, and tenant service order requests.
• Maintain and repair the sprinkler system, mow lawns, trim shrubs, lower tree branches, fertilize, and weed the grounds.
• Clean, perform maintenance, and paint or touch up interior units upon move-out or as directed.
• Provide exterior touch-up painting for railings, doors, trims, complex signs, and other common areas.
• Complete minor repairs to both the interior and exterior of the complex, such as plumbing, electrical, door locks, appliances, carpets, drapes, sheetrock, and tile work.
• Ensure all equipment assigned to the complex is kept in good working order.
• Obtain written bids and follow up with local contractors for major repair work as requested by the management agency.
• Order and/or pick up necessary maintenance supplies as needed.
• Clean community rooms, laundry rooms, offices, and public restrooms as scheduled.
• Perform snow removal duties, if applicable.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies on an occasional basis.
• Uphold professionalism in interactions with residents, supervisors, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance, landscaping, and repair work.
• Proficiency in basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
