A local career assistance company has an onsite wellness clinic that is hiring Licensed Nurses. Pay:

  • RN $40.50/hr for first 3 months, with a pay increase upon hire 
  • LPN $33.50/hr for first 3 months, with a pay increase upon hire 

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 7:30a-4:30p

Primary Objectives as a Licensed Nurse (LPN / RN):

  • Assists the Health and Wellness Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating an efficient wellness program consistent with the students’ needs and Job Corps goals and objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Dispenses prescribed medications
  • Assists in physical examinations of all new enrollees
  • Orders all drugs and medical supplies and stores when received
  • Assist Director with monitoring and ordering of medical supplies
  • Documents individual charts for all enrollees seen by medical or dental personnel
  • Ensures that all enrollees return for special treatment or medication ordered by a doctor
  • Keep log on all infirmary patients
  • Initiate and Monitors weight improvement programs
  • Works toward meeting position performance goals
  • Follows CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily
  • Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Company notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures
  • Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.
  • Attend regular scheduled staff meetings
  • Screens and attempts to solve all student problems before referring them to the Health & Wellness Director
  • Models, mentors, monitors appropriate Career Success Standard
  • Helps students become more employable through continuous reinforcement
  • Participates in PRH mandated staff training
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with youth
  • Associate degree in nursing, BSN preferred
  • Active RN or LPN license in Washington state
