Heat Treatment facility in South Ft Worth is looking for a Furnace Operator to join their team!

 

Furnace Operator Schedule:

ROTATING - 

Week 1: Monday - Tuesday, Friday - Sunday (each day is 12 hours)

Week 2: Wednesday - Thursday (each day is 12 hours)

 

Furnace Operator Pay: $18-24/hr

 

Furnace Operator Job Duties:

• Monitor furnace process indicators to insure process requirements are achieved (time, temperature, atmosphere)
• Process product in accordance to production schedule to ensure customer expectations are achieved and minimize job gap times between loads
• Document all processing information on shop orders and furnace charts
• Fixture loads to achieve desired metallurgical results
• Monitor furnace mechanical operations and perform preventive maintenance as needed

 

Furnace Operator Requirements:

• Valid drivers license
• 1-2 years of knowledge of metal working within the manufacturing industry setting 
• Must work well within extreme temperatures 
• Must have good time management, multi-tasking, problem solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
