Salary: $20.00

Equipment Repair Technician position available for a local family-owned wholesale distributor. This position will require travel as well as working in the warehouse as and when needed. Full time, permanent. Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM. $18-$21 DOE.

 

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of janitorial equipment at customer sites or branch location depending on diagnosis.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair and warehouse workspace.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand equipment issues and provide updates on repairs.
• May be required to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience repairing janitorial equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Drivers License.
