Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Position Overview: Seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Generalist. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of recent experience in full-time human resources roles, with exposure to various HR functions. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting employees and driving HR initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Spearhead recruitment efforts, from posting job openings to recommending hires.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution.
  • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts or issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and laws.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers, resolving inquiries promptly.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Assist in crafting and implementing HR policies and procedures to uphold organizational standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain meticulous employee records and HR databases, generating insightful reports to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all HR-related data.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives, identifying needs and recommending tailored programs.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Actively participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and diversity programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in full-time human resources roles.
  • Proven knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Meticulous with strong organizational and time management skills.
